FATT CAT Story Contest

Have an interesting or funny cat story or essay? How about a cute poem? Enter today and win valuable and fun prizes.

Your story can be fictional or true, but it must be your own original composition.

Stories or poems that have been published for money in a print magazine or elsewhere are not eligible.

Authors who have won first prize in the last 12 months are not eligible.

Your story or poem must be cat-related.

To enter, send your story, poem, or essay in an email to kathieSfreeman@att.net (without the "S") . Put the name of the contest you are entering in the "message" line, and your story in the body of the email. Any drawings or photos that illustrate the story should be sent as attachments. One entry per person per month, please.

All entries will be made available for reading from this page. Writers retain all publishing rights to their work.

First Prize winner receives:
1. 2 sheets of cute cat & kitten stickers.
2. An autographed copy of The Retro - A cautionary tale of big government and genetic engineering.
3. Membership in FATT CAT * with all attendent privileges.
4. His or her story published in Kathies Stories And Tails, a weekly e-zine, with full credit, plus a link to his or her web page or book sale page.

Second Prizewinner receives:
1. An autographed copy of The Retro
2. A set of 6 Read To Your Cat note cards with envelopes.
3. Membership in FATT CAT *

Third Prize winner receives:
